A solid swell has been hitting Canterbury for the last week.
Heres a few shots from sunday, one lone soldier out back (bout 50-100m past the end of the pier), with all this goodness to himself.
Others tried, but no one could get out there to join the champion, jumping off the pier was most likely the only option
